Things to prepare for the party:

- Buy lots of rum.

- Take a swig of rum and give the party a name. Something er.." piratey " and fun. If you can't think of anything, take another swig of rum and try again.

- Invitations: Write an Invitation on the computer and print it out using an old style font. Then burn around the edges, roll it up into a scroll and stick the name of the guest on it. Don't forget to mention the rum.

- Decorations: Cardboard palm trees, pirate flags, plastic skulls and even stuffed parrots can all be found at your local costume shop.

- Food: Rum, Salted meat (Corn-beef) and rum must be plentiful.

- Costumes: Ask your guests to dress up as pirates. Remember, every self-respecting pirate needs an eye patch and some rum.

- The parrot: stick a toy parrot on your jacket's shoulder or, if your brave, get a digital talking parrot and let it "sing" during the party (we take no responsibility for any talking-parrot-related abuse that might follow).

- Drinking games! We could write down rules here, but by the time you get to this part of the party you probably can't read them anyway, so go have another rum.

- Be the Cap'n of the ship: The ship can't go without the Cap'n. Lead the crew with the right " Pirattitude " and speak the right pirate lingo. You can find a whole bunch of mighty pirate lingo and even an English-to-Pirate translator. To sound like a real pirate grab a copy of AV Voice Changer Software Diamond and follow the treasure map! Have fun! Arr! Now, where's my rum?....
